Nat Merchant Trail Professional Review and Guide
"The hike: Mainly used as a connector trail for long day hikes during an overnight camping trip, the Nat Merchant Trail provides no breathtaking scenery. Instead, there are plenty of close-up views of skunk cabbage, ferns, and a mature spruce forest. With its proximity to Merchant Brook, the trail often has water running down it. Wear appropriate footwear and take insect repellent during the buggy season. Highlights: Boggy woods walk near Merchant Brook; little traveled."
