"Rocky Eben’s Head is an amazing place for watching the sunset if you are staying overnight on Isle au Haut. Standing high atop this wide-open knob, the views are south to Western Head, southeast to Duck Harbor Mountain, and west to the Camden Hills, Saddleback Ledge, and Vinalhaven. The Eben’s Head Trail is an easy to moderate hike for day-trippers and picnickers who arrive at nearby Duck Harbor Landing. The trail, reached after a 0.8-mile walk from Duck Harbor Landing on unpaved roads, starts easily through the woods and then skirts the shore, with a view across Duck Harbor to the boat landing and possibly harbor seals. The trail curves right (northwest)."
