Valley Trail

Valley Trail is a hiking and horse trail in District of Columbia and Maryland. It is within Rock Creek Regional Park and Rock Creek Park and Piney Branch Parkway. It is 5.2 miles long and begins at 149 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 4.4 miles with a total elevation gain of 882 feet. Near the trailhead there is a parking. The Miller Cabin (elevation 161 feet) restrooms can be seen along the trail. There are also parkings, grasses, a sand, and picnic sites along the trail. This trail connects with the following: Whittier Trail, Teddy Roosevelt Side Trail, Holly Trail, Western Ridge Trail, Rock Creek Trail and Pine Trail.
