Rachel Carson Greenway Trail

Rachel Carson Greenway Trail is a hiking, biking, and horse trail in Prince George's County and Montgomery County, Maryland. It is within Queenstown Park, Magruder Park, Burnt Mills East Special Park, Melrose Park, Cottage City Park, 38th Avenue Neighborhood Park, Northwest Branch Stream Valley Unit 3, and Burnt Mills West Special Park. It is 12.3 miles long and begins at 204 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 24.5 miles with a total elevation gain of 2,660 feet. The Burnt Mills Reservoir (elevation 226 feet) water can be seen along the trail. There are also a parking and a water along the trail.
