This trail is set back behind a suburban neighborhood. Easily accessible from the road however you need to park on the side of the street. Trail is entirely covered by trees which was great for the sunny summer day we went.
There are some rougher side paths that lead down to the river which is where the real fun is. The paths near the river give great views of the water but are not well defined and require moving around fallen trees and water gaps.
It’s a nice quick hike with some fun yet rough paths along the river. Views of the river are limited from above due to the thick tree coverage. A good short day trip, worth doing at least once.
