State Park Trail

State Park Trail is a hiking trail in Garrett County, Maryland. It is within Fulcher P. Smith Conservation Area and Deep Creek Lake State Park. It is 2.8 miles long and begins at 2,595 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 5.4 miles with a total elevation gain of 748 feet. Near the trailhead there is a parking. The Thayerville Lookout Tower (elevation 3,028 feet) tower can be seen along the trail. There are also communication towers along the trail. This trail connects with the following: Meadow Doubletrack and Look Out Point.
