Weems Creek–Severn River

Weems Creek–Severn River Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This adventure takes boaters from a small Annapolis creek to the Severn River. A kayak-friendly marina is the turnaround waypoint, and a longer one-way adventure to the end of the river is offered.

It takes about 90 minutes to slow paddle the circumference of Weems Creek. The headwater takes boats a breath away from Route 50 just before it crosses the Severn River Bridge. The creek is pleasant year-round, and during low tide the paddle is still doable; the mud banks just make the circumference a bit shorter."
