Weston Reservoir Professional Review and Guide
"The Weston Reservoir Conservation Area is loved by many a dog and is a great place to walk with your pooch year-round. Although a fence prevents access to the reservoir, you will most definitely enjoy the beautiful views and the shade-covered trail that weaves through a dense pine forest. From the parking area, leash up and look both ways before you cross sometimes-busy Ash Street. Once you get to the other side and far enough away from the road that you feel safe, your dog can explore this conservation area under voice control and leash free. The main path hugs the fence line, but to explore the path less traveled veer to the right through the open field until you reach a sign that reads “Watershed Protection Trail.” This path runs parallel to the main path and remains cool even on warm summer days. In spring, lily of the valley and ferns grow abundantly along the trail’s edge."
