Blackstone River and Canal Heritage

Blackstone River and Canal Heritage Professional Review and Guide

"East of Massachusetts 122 in Uxbridge and Northbridge. Two hikes explore the park, traveling multiple-use trails: The Towpath Hike tours a scenic, mostly natural corridor through the old industrial beltway. King Philip's Trail travels the wooded hillside above Rice City Pond, ending at a prominent rock overlook. Special attractions: Historic locks, dams, bridge abutments, and foundation; scenic woods and wetland; vistas; wildlife."

I enjoyed the trail (Towpath) along the river and seeing the old mill. Many turtles were sunning. The visitor center is great. Good materials available. I'll probably return to do the other walk.
