Observation Tower Trail Professional Review and Guide

"Varied landscape including woods, geological features, meadow and river habitats, and a view of Great Wenham Swamp. At 2,800 acres, the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary is the largest Audubon site in Massachusetts, with 8 miles of the Ipswich River winding through the sanctuary.

The Ipswich River starts 30 miles inland, snakes through Great Wenham Swamp, and eventually empties into the Atlantic Ocean. Special Features: Glacial drumlin and eskers, high observation deck overlooking Great Wenham Swamp, and exhibits, educational programs, and gift shop."
