Oak Bluffs–East Chop–Vineyard Haven

Oak Bluffs–East Chop–Vineyard Haven Professional Review and Guide

"Do it as an out- and- back or combine with Ride 38 to see the rest of the island. Beautiful views of Vineyard Sound and Falmouth, riding the East Chop to the lighthouse. Explore Oak Bluffs and the gingerbread houses, then explore Vineyard Haven, a completely different feel. This one’s an easy way to get a good taste of two very different Martha’s Vineyard towns.

This ride is an out- and- back from the busy Oak Bluff s to the busy Vineyard Haven, where you can see all the sights in both towns. Since getting to Martha’s Vineyard usually means taking a ferry with a bicycle from Falmouth and arriving at either Oak Bluffs or Vineyard Haven, there is the option to take the Island Queen ferry from Falmouth Heights to Oak Bluffs or the Steamship Authority ferry to either town."
