Summit House at Skinner State Park

Summit House at Skinner State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This hike is centered on a mill village-turned-country estate along Turkey Hill Brook. The stream drops 90 feet in 0.25 mile, providing waterpower for mills during a 180-year span.

See the falls, a restored millhouse, the site of a mill village, a quarry, and some incredible flower gardens, planted by an estate owner who lived here after the mill era ended. An additional walk loops you through a quiet part of the park on a rock-lined country lane."
