Flax Pond Path Professional Review and Guide

"This is an easy mountain bike ride through another section of Nickerson State Park, but this one connects to the Cape Cod Rail Trail. I like a cyclocross bike for this ride, but a mountain bike or fat tire bike can handle it easily. Flax Pond is a great fresh- water swimming area, and you can ride this loop and start or finish there as an option.

This ride is a short cyclocross or mountain bike route that takes riders on a challenging course through pine and oak forest, along a fresh water beach, around a few ponds, over sandy climbs, and down fast descents through Nickerson State Park and Brewster."
