With 4.5 miles of leash-free trails, one can spend an entire morning exploring Noon Hill (204 acres) and the adjacent Henry L. Shattuck Reservation, which includes an additional 225 acres along the Charles River. At 370 feet, Noon Hill rises gently above the surrounding landscape, offering extensive views south across the undulating hills of Walpole and Norfolk. Depressions found in the hillsides remind us of our glacial past. Noon Hill’s thickly wooded slopes are forested with hemlock, pine, beech, and birch.
