Winnekenni Park

Winnekenni Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"After first surveying the magnificent expanse of Kenoza Lake from a carriage road and footpaths, this hike climbs to a 19th-century castle built of fieldstone.

Begin the hike heading north toward MA 110 on the path that runs wide along the bank of the Basin of Kenoza Lake. Shortly after passing a children’s play area, the path cuts close to the road and dips into a wooded corridor. Emerging on the other side, stay right and continue south on a wide packed-earth path that leads between Kenoza Lake and the basin.

The 2.5-mile Dudley Porter Trail that borders three quarters of Kenoza Lake is wheelchair-friendly."
