"A pastoral walk across old farmland from a seventeenth-century farmhouse to the Merrimack estuary. The Eliza Little Walking Trail is part of the 170-mile Bay Circuit Walking Trail, which makes a half circle from Kingston Bay to Plum Island around greater Boston.

The circuit, first proposed in 1929, now passes through fifty cities and towns, connecting more than seventy-nine protected sites such as this. Special Features: working farm since 1635, part of the Bay Circuit Walking Trail, and historical farmhouse tours, educational programs, and gift shop."

A nice short nature walk that would be a great accompaniment to other activities in the area (e.g., Parker River National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters, Joppa Flats Audubon Center, Plum Island, downtown Newburyport).
