Nickerson State Park - Cliff and Little Cliff Ponds Trail Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Nickerson State Park is one of the Cape’s gems, providing year-round public access to about 1,900 acres of open space. More than 400 seasonal campsites beckon, along with trails for walking, bicycling, horseback riding, and even cross-country skiing. Several large kettle ponds offer opportunities for swimming, nonmotorized boating, and fishing.
This scenic loop circles most of Little Cliff Pond and then explores the forested shoreline of much larger Cliff Pond. If water levels are high, there are inland trails through the woods that border each pond, but some of these trails may be overgrown. Because of the state park’s popularity, this walk is best done during the off-season."
