Boston Marathon Ride Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"One the the six World Marathon Majors, the Boston Marathon is the world’s oldest annual marathon, founded in 1897 and run every year since. Its 26-mile, 385-yard route runs through eight communities from Hopkinton to Boston’s Copley Square, passing ponds, woods, and hills, including the famous Heartbreak Hill near Boston College.
The marathon route makes for a rewarding ride from the suburbs to the heart of Boston, a ride completed every year by hundreds of avid members of the Society of Spontaneity as part of its Midnight Marathon. Come trace the path run by hundreds of thousands of avid racers for the past hundred-plus years, a course now designated Boston Strong after the bombing of April 2013."
