Waitsboro Professional Review and Guide
"The campground is located right on Lake Cumberland and has broad appeal to anyone wanting to take advantage of all the lake has to offer. Eight of the campsites are right on the water’s edge, providing a lakefront view.
Most of the camping pads are back-in sites with paved aprons. The campground has dense stands of mature hardwood forest, providing plenty of shade and the opportunity to view wildlife in a natural setting. The lake has an abundance of largemouth, smallmouth, white, and Kentucky bass, bluegill, crappie, rockfish, and walleye, making it a favorite among anglers. The Black Walnut Nature Trail, located near the lake office, is a selfguided educational trail."
