    Walnut Creek Marina and Campground

Walnut Creek Marina and Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Walnut Creek Campground is popular with anglers who like this area of Barren River Lake. The Walnut Creek and Manley Branch coves are well-known prime fishing locations. The campground has electric hookups for some sites; however, this is a primitive campground, so there are no showers or flush toilets. Some of the sites are on grass. The campsites are made for small RVs or tents. If you have a big rig, you might be better off at one of the other campgrounds on the lake.

There are a few walking trails around the edge of the lake, and sometimes wildlife can be seen right from the campsites. If you’re looking for an out-of-the-way primitive location, this campground may be just what you’re looking for. I found it to be clean, with wonderful vista views."
