Daniel Boone National Forest, Salt Lick—Clear Creek Professional Review and Guide

"Clear Creek Campground is an out-of-the-way spot that even locals may know little about. It’s located only minutes from Cave Run Lake, near the quiet stream that feeds a small lake known as Clear Creek Lake, hidden in the shadows of the larger lake.

If you find yourself craving a slower pace, Clear Creek might be just what you’re looking for. Clear Creek Lake is popular for its bluegill population; it has a boat ramp for small craft and is also popular for bank fishing. The campsites are considered to be primitive—no showers here and only vault toilets. You can camp here with an RV; however, there are no electric hookups."
