    Rushing Creek Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"While this campground is located on the border of Kentucky and Tennessee, I have included it because it is part of the USDA Forest Service Golden Pond complex. It’s located in the southern region of the complex near Murray, Kentucky. They are two sections to this campground—Rushing Creek and Jones Creek. The draw here is the campground’s location on the lake; from here you can fish both the Kentucky and Tennessee sections of the lake.

The wooded campground gives you the feeling of seclusion, even when there is someone camped near you. The boat ramp is easy to get to, and many of the campsites are lakefront. The area is checkered with walking trails and plenty of nature viewing. If you’re looking for an out-of-the-way place in a primitive setting, this campground may fit the bill."
