Trace Branch Campground

Trace Branch Campground Professional Review and Guide

"Buckhorn Lake is fed by the Kentucky River and holds some of the best muskie fishing in the state. This lake also has less fishing pressure than many of its counterparts in the state. The campground has about anything you could want and is a great place to stay. There is plenty of shade here, and most of the roads are paved.

I did notice that some of the campsites have a slight downward pitch, and while there are a few pull-though sites, most are back-in. About ten of the campsites are on the waterfront, making them good locations for those who want to take advantage of what the lake has to offer. I rate this lake and campground high on my list of places you should visit."
