Greenbo Lake State Park

Greenbo Lake State Park Professional Review and Guide

"The campground is very popular with visiting tourist and locals alike. This campground has about anything you could ask for. The only negative is that some of the campsites are close together. The campground is easy to drive to, very clean, and a great place to stay. The lake is small. There is no size or horsepower limitation for boats, but the speed limit is idle speed only, making this little lake a great place for people who like to canoe or kayak. The fishing is very good.

It held the state record for largemouth bass (13 pounds, 8 ounces) for many years. There are hiking trails, a swimming pool, and tennis courts near the lodge. Wildlife is abundant, so bring a camera. A section has been set aside for scuba diving, and I was told a new zip line will be added to the park very soon."
