Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The campground is located at the point where the Skaggs Creek and Beaver Creek arms of Barren River Lake meet. It is a primitive location, and all twelve campsites are located along the shoreline. If getting away and having some privacy is your goal, this campground just might fit the bill.

Bank fishing, boating, and swimming are all at your fingertips here. The locals tell me that it’s a popular place for catfish anglers. The area’s waterfront real estate attracts campers who like the rugged location and the fact that it is in a “no-ski” zone, reducing boat traffic and noise."
