"Boone Cliffs State Nature Preserve if a fun hike with plenty of geological discoveries as well as incredible woodland overlooks. The trail weaves through the upland forest and provides several places to sit and enjoy the forest. The overlook is absolutely incredible, so plan to sit and enjoy the view for a while. The fragile habitat and conglomerate cliffs cannot withstand off-trail use, so don't stray from the path. No pets are allowed." Read more
