    Fishing Creek

    Fishing Creek Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Fishing Creek is located on one of the main branches of the Cumberland River, which feeds Lake Cumberland. It offers what’s considered some of the best fishing on the lake. This area is heavily wooded with mature forest. Wildlife viewing, hunting, fishing, and hiking are just a few of the things that draw thousands of visitors to this area each year.

The campground has most of the things you would expect from a full-service campsite. Lee’s Ford Resort Marina, less than 10 minutes from the campground, offers boat rentals, a general store, a restaurant, and lodging. I have stayed at this campsite a few times. The pads are nice and easy to back into. Hookups are easy to get to, and many of the campsites have good shade."
