Laurel River Lake Loop

Laurel River Lake Loop Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This loop hike, great for casual hikers, makes an easy Sunday stroll. The well-groomed Sheltowee Trace curves along the coves and bays of Laurel River Lake through pine-oak-hickory woods on an easy grade.

This unusual combination of Plateau upland forest and water draws in other hikers, as well as mountain bikers and those camping at Holly Bay Campground, one of the finest overnighting locales in the state. However, winter is the best time to enjoy this trail, as more water views open and the whole lake is quiet. Outstanding Features: Lake views, and well-kept trail"
