    Holmes Bend Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The lake supports a good muskie population, and the bass and crappie fishing is also a big plus. Within 10 miles of the campground, there is beach access with a boat ramp. Boating, fishing, laundry, a marina, a picnic shelter, and swimming are all available. The roads and camping pads are gravel. Some of the sites are back-in; others are drive-in.

The only drawback to this campground compared with other locations on this lake is that the sites are not right on the water. A few are a little closer, but none are shoreline sites. However, I didn’t find it to be much of an inconvenience. I stayed in B Loop, Site 093, a back-in site with standard electric and plenty of shade; it’s as close to the water as you can get in this campground. The site would accommodate a 65-foot RV. I found the campground to be clean with good shade and hot showers. And pets are welcome. If you’re looking for a good place to stay on Green River Lake, consider this campground."
