Wet Prong of Buffalo Loop Trail Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This trail forms a loop, leaving from the First Creek Trailhead and descending into the Wet Prong Buffalo Creek Valley before turning up the main stream and crossing Wet Prong Buffalo Creek several times.
This valley is quite beautiful, as it features a bluff-bordered branch of the Green River that flows yearround amid a lush forest of beech and magnolia trees, among other flora. The highlights include Streamside trail, bluffs, good loop trail, and the Ferguson Hollow backcountry campsite. The trail condition is mostly good with moderate to heavy traffic."
