This is known as the Clear Creek Trail. It mostly burned over in summer 2017, so expect the trail to be heavily impacted by falling snags and the other aftereffects for some years to come. Be sure to check with the Happy Camp Ranger Station for current conditions. That being said, Clear Creek is a marvelous stream, and this trail will take you into the heart of the Siskiyou Wilderness. The last part of the road approaching the No Mans Creek traihead and campsite has been rendered undrivable by a landslide, adding about a mile of hiking.
