Allegheny Trail is a hiking trail in Virginia and West Virginia. It is within Jefferson National Forest. It is 12.4 miles long and begins at 3,455 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 24.9 miles with a total elevation gain of 4,369 feet. Near the trailhead there is parking. Hanging Rock (elevation 3,783 feet) and the Hanging Rock Raptor Observatory (elevation 3,770 feet) observation tower can be seen along the trail. There is also a restrooms along the trail.
