Gable Lakes Trail Professional Review and Guide
"The four Gable Lakes, in a rocky basin below Four Gables Mountain, are the scenic objective of this difficult hike. Few people make the trek to these relatively unknown lakes, and those who do will find solitude, fishing, and many photographic opportunities around the old mines and rocky lakeshores."
--Vicky Spring & Tom Kirkendall, 100 Hikes in California's Central Sierra & Coast Range (The Mountaineers Books).
