Pennywort Cliffs Professional Review and Guide
"If solitude is what you want, Pennywort Cliffs Nature Preserve delivers. Its unmarked trails follow old roadbeds through mature hardwoods, linking the hardy hiker to meadows, small sinkholes, bubbling streams, and eventually Big Creek. At 216 acres, the preserve is small but designed to protect the rare pennywort, an aquatic plant that grows along the cliffs and springs in the area. A 30-foot waterfall lies off-trail; access is recommended through official guided hikes."
