Shirley Creek Trail 0.4 Mi Professional Reviews and Guides
"Located about 10 miles east of Orleans in northwestern Orange County. Whether on the East or West Loop, the defining characteristic of this trail network is elevation. There are three places you'll be riding here: on the ridge tops, in the creek bottoms, or on one of the hills connecting them. Hit the hills and this is the toughest ride in the state. The East Loop is poorly marked and intertwined with lots of social trails. It might not be worth going here if the East Loop were all that was available, but with the West Loop just across the road, this is a good destination. This is a popular area with hunters and horse riders, so you may want to avoid it during hunting season."
