Brown County State Park: Taylor Ridge Trail (Trail 9) Professional Review and Guide
"The Taylor Ridge Trail (Trail 9), when you include the extension to Ogle Lake, is likely the toughest hike in the park and one not to be taken lightly. At 7.2 miles, the distance alone earns it a “difficult” rating. But it’s the cross-slope, leapfrog trajectory of the route over three huge ridges that makes it truly memorable. As always, the hard work is worth the effort as the trail ventures into untouched wilderness and offers a more out-of-the-way experience than many of the park’s easier and more popular trails."
