If you’ve ever wanted to hike part of the 58-mile backcountry Knobstone Trail, Spurgeon Hollow is an excellent choice. Two loops form the northern terminus of the Knobstone—the Delaney Park and Spurgeon Hollow Trails. While portions of the southern section of the Knobstone Trail suff ered damage from the 2012 tornado that swept through south-central Indiana, the northern section remains relatively unscathed.
