Whitewater Memorial State Park

Whitewater Memorial State Park Professional Review and Guide

"This adventure uses three trails to achieve a hiker’s overview of Whitewater Memorial State Park. First, the Lakeshore Trail makes an undulating jaunt along Whitewater Lake through the Hornbeam Nature Preserve to a waterfowl observation deck. Backtrack to the trailhead, then pick up the Red Springs Trail.

It also wanders along the lakeshore before dropping to a hillside where mineral-rich seep springs emanate. After looping back to the trailhead, make a short drive to the Veterans Trail. The Veterans Trail makes a circuit of its own beyond Brookville Lake and into hills, finally passing a homesite and limited vista."
