Wonderful trail with a great deal of variety as you wind around lakes and through woods and fields. There are a number of old CCC buildings to view. Take the extra loop on trail 7 out to the pond. It was beautiful and offered a number of bird sightings. It was a fairly easy trail.

Good varied terrain with several water stops along the way - even in mid-March. Hike this one in reverse if you want to avoid quite a set of stairs at Hell's Point when you are losing steam! You really won't get away from things here - we always pass someone on the way, but this is a good afternoon hike.

This is also a nice fall hike to experience some nice color - and you'll find the most hills within an hour's radius of flat Fort Wayne!
