Silver Springs State Park Loop

Silver Springs State Park Loop Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Silver Springs offers a wealth of scenic pleasures. While hiking over ridges, through woodlands, along Loon Lake and the Fox River, you’ll encounter a variety of trees, birds, and wildflowers.

Dogs must be leashed. Bring a fishing pole if you’d like to cast a line into the 2 man-made lakes near the parking lot. Only non-motorized boats are allowed on the lakes, but motorized boats are allowed on the Fox River. Pick up a free wildflower checklist at the concession stand or park office—it’s a great help to those interested in identifying the park’s 130 flower types."
