Delabar State Park is small—only 89 acres— but it’s perched on the banks of the largest of all the rivers that have influenced the history and geography of Illinois, the Mississippi. While this little park caters primarily to RVers, it offers a few ideal tent sites, and it’s a great base from which to explore this portion of Great River Road.
