Lone Point Recreation Area Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Throughout this campground, scenic views of Lake Shelbyville and its wooded shores peek through the oak and hickory trees. The campsites, situated on gently rolling terrain, tend to be shaded and well spaced.

Catch the Chief Illini Trail near the boat launch. It takes you through woodland and prairie along the shore of Lake Shelbyville for 11 miles to Eagle Creek State Park."
