This trail offers a perfect chance to get to know Aurora and its nearby residential and rural environs. West of the city, the trail repeatedly crosses Blackberry Creek and occasionally runs alongside its wooded banks. After crossing a new 100-yardlong trestle bridge over IL 56, you’ll enter a stunning forest containing an example of a not-so-common geological feature.
