Gold Coast and Old Town Professional Review and Guide
"The Gold Coast has always been just that: the place where the folks with the gold live near the coast. Since the 1880s it has been home to some of Chicago’s wealthiest families, and much of the neighborhood feels timeless. The nightlife on nearby Rush St. also seems timeless, but maybe that’s just plastic surgery. Just north, Old Town was once a modest worker’s enclave, but time and gentrification have turned it into a lovely yet exclusive place where finding something to buy for under seven figures means sharing a floor. Walks here are rich in history, beauty and charm—but not necessarily all three at once."
