What a great trail..However, the first 10 miles are easy the last two are straight up with a weird idea of switchbacks. It is a bummer at the end of the day hitting the only elevation gain, which is strenuous, but well worth it. The lake and area is gorgeous, the waterfall tremendous (we like waterfalls) and the fishing fair. One of the nicest areas we have been to and no planes flying overhead. Do it!!! a must for all.
