I went on a pack trip up to Cutthroat Lake and back. It was a good, strenuous hike. Can hike in to Cutthroat in 1 day. Fishing was decent, would have been better for fly fishing. find a way to get to the middle of the lake, and you will catch tons of fish.

The trail over all is well marked and easily passible, however in the last few years they have allowed horse guides in which has greatly destroyed the trail in 3-4 locations. The hike is still well worth it...the fishing is excellent....there is also a boy scout camp located about 10 miles from the trail head so you normally will run into them up there.
