O’Brien Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Finding the campground: From Stanley drive 16.9 miles east on ID 75 and then south on FR 454 for 2 miles to Upper O’Brien and 4 miles to Lower O’Brien.

The campground: Backed up against the Sawtooth National Recreation Area—on its northeast side—this is a great spot for hiking and fishing. It’s more secluded from the highway than most of the other campgrounds in the area, and it’s also quite popular in the summer."
