Lakeview/Inlet Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"These are the two westernmost campgrounds on popular Stanley Lake (a much sought-after camping location but usually less crowded than the Redfish Lake area). The campgrounds themselves are on forested country sloping down toward the lake.

There isn’t the spectacle of high Sawtooth Mountains in the immediate background as at Redfish (though there are good views of McGowan Peak), but the scene is absolutely pristine—the image of a clear blue mountain lake set against a dark green forest. The campgrounds have close access to several fine trails (Bridal Veil and Alpine Way are both well-known and highly regarded by many campers), and Inlet has a fine swimming beach."
