Flat Rock/Pole Flat Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"These two cozy, forested campgrounds are close neighbors on the paved portion of the Yankee Fork Road; the Yankee Fork River is across the road from the campgrounds. They are nicely developed campgrounds backed up against a mountainside, with some small dredge pilings along its side, just to remind you that you’re in an old dredge mining district.

The forest service notes that bears are highly active in the area, so be careful to stow your food when you’re not fixing or eating it."
