Beaver Creek Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Finding the campground: From Stanley drive 19 miles northwest on ID 21 and then 3 miles north on FR 008 (Beaver Creek Road); the campground is visible on the right.

The campground: Beaver Creek is good for general camping but set up especially for people with horses; corrals and horse trailheads are located here. Motor homes and trailers up to 32 feet are easily accommodated. This is one of the two or three best campgrounds in central Idaho for horse enthusiasts. The forested setting on Beaver Creek is the equal of most of those in the area; there are some spectacular Sawtooth mountain views in the area. This campground is close to the Frank Church–River of No Return Wilderness."
